If you own a house or a car, do yourself a favor and get a membership. I wish this place had been around when I bought my first house.

This place is a true gem! As a new homeowner, other friends had told me about the tool library as a good resource - in fact, 2 separate friends who didn't know each other referred me to them. I got a membership, and I can say that I would gladly pay way more for these services than I do! Here's some of what I love: 1. The people. The volunteers are fantastic! I was a little worried I'd be talked down to, but the people are super helpful, kind, and generous with their time. I've always been jealous of my friends with family members who were super handy - every volunteer has been such a huge help! 2. The tools! I hate buying a tool that I am only going to use once a year - or even a handful of times. The tool library lets me use the right tool for the job without storing it. 3. The classes. I took my first class there this week and really enjoyed it. It was so well organized, very hands on, very welcoming, and the instructor was again so kind and encouraging. Also, if you have an area of expertise that you could share, my understanding is that you could host your own class which is a great way to give back to the community as well. 10/10, this place is amazing!
