Star Nails

All my friends and I have gone to Star Nails so many times over the past decade, and not once has this wonderful salon failed me. They are friendly, reasonably priced, talented, and overall well staffed. Every single technician they have bring their own style to the nail art. Location: They are centrally located in Eagan, 10 minutes from St. Paul. If you are not an Eagan resident, its definitely still worth coming here. Stop by the Outlet or go eat some Ritas while youre at it. Star Nails is right off the highway, and theres also plenty of parking for anyone and everyone. Wait time?: They do walk-ins and appointment. If you need to be somewhere, I suggest scheduling something in. If you end up waiting more time than usual, I suggest that you communicate that with Tammy, the owner, and she will be happy to accommodate you with discounts for the future. She is super understanding. Her salon is fully staffed, but theres a reason that during peak seasons and at peak hours, there MIGHT be a wait but its because they are THAT worth it! You wont ever have to wait that long in any case. I usually come in at 7pm or 7:30pm right before they close if I just need a quick refill. They get me in and out in 30 minutes. Staff: Amazingly trained, great at nail art and collaborative. Bring your wildest designs and styles in there, and they can do it all for you. They work with one another to make sure that if one technician cant draw or reproduce exactly the model you have in mind, someone else will come in to assist. Just be direct with them and tell them when they are not giving you what you exactly envisioned, they will assist. They are reasonable and want you to walk out of there content. I have given them models from random social media images, and they have all worked with me to figure it out. Price: Nothing beats their prices, I promise. Cash discounts. Student discounts. Services: I have gotten eyebrow waxes, gel manicure and pedicure, and foot massages and scrub. Great massage chairs, comfortable. From my knowledge, this is, like most salons, a family establishment. The owners nieces, in-laws, church and temple mates all work here. Theyre like a family. If you get the chance, I suggest asking questions and getting to know them!

Made an appointment. Went on time ,maybe a little early. Made to wait 45 minutes to an hour and was rushed through and job poorly done.

Today was my second visit to this salon for a basic pedicure. My first experience was top notch. Great atmosphere and quality. Friendly staff and a great price. Five stars. Today, it was very busy and they seemed to struggle to keep up. I had an appointment, but waited 1/2 hour before the technician came to the chair. I made an appointment because my schedule was tight. I got up to leave after 20 minutes and was rudely scolded by a nearby technician. Finally my pedicure was done quickly and it looks good. My advice: dont go if youre in a hurry. Since this salon is quite a trek from home for me, sad to say I doubt will return.

The BEST PLACE to get your nails done. I left a 1 star review yesterday but it was on accident! I meant to send the review for a different nail salon in Eagan. Star nail is hands down the best place to go for your nails. And its always my go to! What a mistake for me to try a different nail salon yesterday, i will always go to Star now!
