We were so fortunate to have crossed paths with Mariah as we made the decision to relocate to Minneapolis from the east coast. Buying a house is challenging enough, but relocating a family of five people and three fur babies felt impossible. From the very first five minutes of talking with Mariah we knew not only that we were making the right decision but that we were in the right hands to accomplish the trial ahead of us. In our first conversation Mariah had gathered enough information from us to know what we were looking for in a home and community and started work immediately to put together an awesome list of houses to see. Mariah cleared an entire Saturday to look at what felt like 20 homes across the twin cities and suburbs on the only weekend I could make it in town and in each home I could tell she was soaking in every piece of feedback in case we didnt find the house and would need to finish looking virtually. We did find the house in that weekend and the following month, while full of many challenges, felt easy with Mariahs guidance. Through their expertise in old homes, and the market we were buying in we were able to negotiate an excellent agreement and were in our house in a months time. I truly think the best testament to Mariahs work is our experience since purchasing the home. As it goes with buying a house, especially one built over 100 yrs ago, there have been some things pop up needing attention. And not small things. We were happy to say each time that they werent surprises. These were things that either came up through the additional inspections Mariah recommended or through just their gut instincts looking at the home. We have saved thousands of dollars as a result of that preparation. Finally, one of the best compliments might be when I had the opportunity to speak to the selling agent and he had nothing but glowing reviews on working with Mariah during the purchase. That the negotiation process was made easy because of the professionalism and preparedness Mariah came to every conversation with. . Mariah made one of our most stressful life events feel like an absolute breeze.

Mariah is an incredible realtor! When we were starting the process of buying a house this past year, we were really stuck on how to find a good realtor. We knew we wanted to work with someone closer to our age who had a similar understanding of the world, who would be kind and respectful towards us as first time buyers, and towards me as a nonbinary person. We found Mariah because they were the listing agent on a home we liked, and we looked up their name and found they were exactly the type of person we were hoping to work with. Mariah made the process of looking for a home so smooth. Their knowledge of the market and of older homes was so useful, they made everything very easy to understand, never acted like a question we had wasnt reasonable or answerable, were honest about the work a house may need if we went forward with it, gave wonderful insight and opinions when we asked for it, and was a guiding hand while still letting us learn things for ourselves. Every time we looked at a house with them they made it a fun, non stressful learning experience. Once we found the perfect house for us, they had incredible recommendations for the offer process, closing terms, and inspection processes. We couldnt have asked for a better experience or a better home for our family. The best part, is its been months since we closed and we know we can still reach out to Mariah with questions about our older home. With Mariah, you will never feel like youre alone in the home buying/owning process, youll feel like youre going through it with a friend. We recommend Mariah 1000% and cant wait to send our friends to them in the future.
