Open Cities Health Center - North End

I've had a really hard time finding good doctors! ones that listen and have more then one route of knowledgeable medical routines! I've had amazing experiences with my doctors and I cant recommended them enough!

just now NEW This place is a god send! I fall in the middle ground of poverty and working/middle class. I cannot afford out of pocket insurance costs but do not qualify for insurance assistance program. They have a sliding scale that accommodates your financial situation. But beyond that, they put patients and their health over profit or payment. I have went years with untreated medical conditions due to my inability to pay and being made uncomfortable at reception desks for that reason. The staff is kind, knowledgeable and resourceful. Absolutely grateful for all the services they provide.

Multiple times they have messed up with scheduling or not getting back to me when they said they would. There seems to be no accountability with the employees there. On a side note, you will get random crackheads approaching you as you are on your way to the front door. It's just that kind of area.

The women who was answer the phone on 12:03 at 5/19/23 hung up on us to make an appointment for my son eye.but instead she say she dont have us in the system.
