New Horizon Academy

We started going to New Horizons at the end of last year, as our old day care was no longer a good fit for our kids. We chose this location because of Miss Abby being the director. We appreciate her open and honest communication, and friendliness every time we walk in the door. She takes the time to listen, and she loves on all the children as if they were her own. Every time our children walk in the door they go straight to her office to look for her and say hi. All of the staff is so welcoming and friendly, and the communication is great. The toddler room is AMAZING! Our child is advancing leaps and bounds from previous experiences. We look forward to continuing watching our kids grow here and the center grow, as well.

New horizon has changed a lot my kids been attending here for about 5 years now and the staff is great never have a problem with them ever since Ms Abby Einerson started I see a huge change within lot of the children behavior its been a good pleasure to have her here and do some changes she is a great fit for the position very open minded and understanding to a lot of things that takes place .. she have been doing good great communication thus far

My last daycare was a nightmare! From my first conversation on the phone with Abby, I knew this center was a great fit!! I'll start with the cleanliness of the building (inside and out) to the way families are greeted at the door. My favorite part is the communication that is shared throughout the day, so I can be in tune with whats going on with my baby girl. If you want a center that puts children first and values education this is definitely the place for you!!!

Moving my child from one school to another was very hard for me. I had to learn the staff and trust them in ways I did my child last school. But this daycare went out of they way to please me I got many times pictures phone calls letting me know my child was doing well. The communication here with all staff is the best. I love the fact my child as for the staff and his friends on the weekends its a great feeling for me.

Most of the teachers are great, but the Director Abby Einerson is TERRIBLE! My children has been going to this center for over 3 years at this point and ever since Abby Einerson became the director its been terrible she is Never at the center she avoids anyone of color pretty sure she is borderline racist, she is very condescending to parents. She has indicated multiple times she will charge parents fees that are not even legal per New Horizon website and MN Dept of Human services website. She does not do her job she barley there. She comes after parent drop off and leaves before parents come to pick up so its impossible to communicate about anything with Abby. Statements are always late, still haven't received my end of the year form. She is not fit for this position. This is only an handful of issues, most parents have disenrolled children solely based off Abby not teachers. She is the worst director and the center went downhill since she has became the director
