Validly there is a lot of turnover in childcare, but this center has done well to retain a very solid group of providers. They demonstrate a high priority to health and safety, the teachers are great with the kids, and mangement is attentive and knowledgeable. I have great peace of mind leaving my chlid here each day.

Only good things to say about TLG. They really try to retain good staff, teachers are attentive. Very clean. Gym on-site is great for wintertime!

I trusted them to take care of my son and have him under their care while I was at work. I get a phone call stating that he had an injury and I had to come to the building immediately. I came inside they told me two different stories of what happened to him, so I do not believe the stories they told me are true and did not say sorry for what happened to him. His bandage looked like it had not been changed for a long period of time; like they werent even attending to him and he had a huge gash in his forehead that was super bloody. He had to receive three stitches at the hospital from the incident at the age of 2 years old...I am so disappointed with their service and would NEVER recommend any person putting their child in these peoples care because they are careless and do not do their jobs. Theyre only looking for a check and thats it..God bless any child that has to attend their horrible/creepy daycare center.. Responding To The Owners Comment Below: I never gave you a name of my child or of my name, so of course you wouldnt have found the information. Make it make sense. It wasnt this year, so maybe thats Also a reason why you do not have a record of this incident. I definitely remember where this happened at because this was my childs First major injury and I called the police on your facility, so I have a police report of the incident and this is the Exact facility where it happened. After I called the police on your facility for what you did to my son, you ended up telling us that we were kicked out of your daycare program...like I was Actually going to bring him back. ANYWAYS Im thinking that you all do not have a record of it because youre trying to keep it quiet; that something that horrible happened there or like I said this place is Super irresponsible. I wouldnt be surprised if you lost the information honestly.

Our daughter has attended the Learning Garden at Hamline for over a year and a half, and we could not be happier with the care and education she receives there. The curriculum is structured and play-centric, and the teachers are as creative as they are energetic. We cannot believe how much or how quickly our daughter is learning -- from shapes and colors, to the alphabet, to writing her own name and drawing, to insects, bugs, weather, gardening, and outer-space. We have gotten to know each of our daughter's teachers personally, so we always know she is in good hands. She comes home telling stories about them and her friends every day. She simply cannot wait to go back to "school." We've also gotten to know some of the other families at the center's annual picnics and holiday parties, which provide an added layer of connection. We know all of our daughter's classmates by name, and many of the parents as well. The facilities at Hamline Church are also clean and up-to-date. The Learning Garden's partnership with the church gives the kids access to indoor and outdoor play space with lots of safe, fun structures and activities. (Though the center is housed in a church, there is no faith component to the curriculum, and both The Learning Garden staff and the church community are very respectful of that separation.) On top of all this, the price-for-value is nearly unbeatable. All formula, meals, and diapers are provided by the center (if you so choose) and are included in the price. We cannot speak highly enough about the directors (Angela and Keith) and their staff. We will be sending our new baby to another Learning Garden location when he is old enough and would be happy to have him attend until he reaches school age.
