Unacceptably incompetent and started insulting me when their ignorance doesn't explain.
I am sharing this bevause their "good" reviews mislead future customers.
I had check engine light on and sent my vehicle to them for diagnosis. The checked the oil level and claimed it was 3 inch higher the plan the maximum level and blamed me for purposely adding oil to trigger the check engine light to use warranty. The advisor (Josh) literally showed me how he checked the oil level---they immediately checked the level when shutting the engine off. Any knowledgeable technicians should know you will need to wait at least 5 minutes before checking. This is at least true for f150. I then went to Valvoline as they did the oil change for me. Valvoline said these guys don't know how to check oi level and the level is perfectly fine.
I forgived them and went back for another diagnosis. This time they said the vvt solenoid doesn't work because it doesn't click and ask for $600 for replacement. I double checked it myself and found the solenoid works perfectly fine which was then confirmed by Ford Midway.
Mike, you need to better train your technicians.

Schoonover Bodyworks was great! They repaired my vehicle early and consistently updated me on the process through their text messaging system. The vehicle was cleaned thoroughly prior to pick up, which I very much appreciated!

Shout out to Quinn! Thank you so much for all your help! My car had a lot of things that needed repair. Quinn was honest with me about which ones were necessary and which ones could wait. When all was said and done I paid a very fair price for the parts and services. Quinn helped me out so much and now Im back on the road! I will definitely be going back to Schoonover Bodyworks for my car repair needs in the future. Its a High quality shop. Very nice facilities. But they would be nothing without the high quality service and honesty of people like Quinn. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The entire crew at Schoonover Bodyworks is so polite, so helpful, and extremely responsive. I recently took my car to them - they did work - and discovered further damage and the car had to be totaled. They did work and didn't receive any money for it as a result. They were still so respectful and helpful!
I can't say enough about what a professional organization this is to work with. Thank you, Mike Schoonover and Stephen!
