HealthPartners Specialty Center - Allergy & Asthma

Very poor communication. Lots of insurance miscommunication. And impossible to reach anyone to sort out problems. It is also very difficult to get appointments here. I would not recommend this place.

Cant get a hold of them by phone without going through the appointment center. They have a section on the phone to ask questions about your prescription but it just hangs up on you. I had issues with my prescribed inhaler, talked to CVs multiple times who said the last time I should contact the doctor. What should have been an easy phone call was an elaborate form to fill out online and wait for an evisit. I havent had my inhaler for weeks as I waited for cvs and HealthPartners to communicate. Disappointed with how big of a center it is with how little help you can receive.

We arrived for a regular allergy injection for my son, was told the serum had been contaminated so they couldn't give it. Because it is a multi-dose vial, it's likely he was previously injected with contaminated serum. After multiple messages to clinic, 3 weeks later we still have no follow up or answer about 1) what was the contaminate 2) confirming if he had been injected with it or not and 3) what are we supposed to be doing going forward. So we're just letting our allergy shot coverage lapse and waiting to transfer to a different clinic as soon as we can get in, and hoping to god there wasn't something seriously wrong with what he was injected with previously.

They cancelled my allergy skin test appointment the day before I was scheduled to take it. I suffered 8 days without my allergy medications in May so i can take this test and then canceled less than 24 hours. They couldn't reschedule until August. They also once gave me the wrong person's allergy shot and I spent the night in the emergency room.
