I have shopped here for over 40 years, recently the service has really gone down. They have a couple of unfriendly guys in the deli department, I asked him to cut my turkey thinner, he rolled his eyes and later threw it on the counter without saying anything. Byerlys needs to train their employees better or just call themselves cub foods.
After 40 years, I am sad to say, I am not coming back, they keep getting worse in customer service.

Everything is overpriced, which is okay if you want to have a nice shopping experience. But lately the service has been bad and Ive walked out with a negative experience just because of the attitude of the employees. The pick up service is really bad too, they just dont want to be there

I have no idea why but this place is like 50/50 for me, hit or miss. I love it because one time I shopped here with my mom for a bday cake for my grandma and while this was 10+ years ago Ill never forget the excitement looking at the cakes in the bakery and all the unique designs. ANYWAY, bakery is still bomb af, love love love the petit dessert selection so I can have a variety without buying the full size. Was that a trap?? Did they see me coming from a mile away? I dont care. I think the issue I have is maybe the floor plan. To be honest it seems chaotic to me. I am so used to walking into a grocery store and hitting the produce section however here Im hit with caribou and a deli. Always staffed appropriately- people are bustling around this store WORKING and they seem happy.. which is not common these days fr fr.

The store is beautiful and well stocked. Its expensive, but if you shop smart you can get prices compared to Cub on a lot of items. Avoid things you need less often - like spices or laundry detergent- as they are way marked up compared to Target and other discount stores. Unless youre rolling in money, of course.
The front end service is a bit lacking. Some of the cashiers are crabby and the people running the self checkout usually ignore the customers as they exit. Bagging quality is hit or miss.
