Jess Altman and her team are amazing. Listening to Jess talk about her practice made me realize how she brings a human element to everything she does. She is a kind and wise attorney and you get a sense of that from interacting with everyone at the firm too. I've had the chance to work with Jess on a family law matter and I wouldn't hesitate to send a friend or family member to her office.

Initially this firm gave me relief and peace of mind. I really trusted that my case would be handled with the utmost care and professionalism. I had more access to the paralegal than I did the attorney. I was told once I would be contacted next week that never happened. Then I was told I would be contacted at a later time and to me that seemed overly unprofessional and poor customer service and ultimately lead to a poor customer experience. Rates are high and frankly in my opinion did not equal the quality of service. I was put on a wild goose chase of providing research, giving feed back and follow up after meetings, uploading documents into the Dropbox( charged for all) and was not given fair explanations of delays for not following back up with me and following up with my daughters father(attorney) in timely manners, which ultimately created more anguish from my ex too. I was very upfront and honest regarding my case from the start being high conflict- yet I was reassured we could fix things (not promised) but I was made to feel comforted and feeling the empathy made me really find the HOPE but it didnt take long before my case was pushed to the side. I really wanted a better outcome and did expect better care and handling of my case. While this firm gives compassion and empathy the customer service and follow through really lacked. I truly wish I had better things to say but I do not. Super dissatisfied. She did complete and follow through a communication issue. Though I did expect her to be more firm with OC than she was. My ex has an attorney who is frankly very rude and uses language that is BOLD. I needed someone who could walk the walk and meet toe to toe and felt that she was soft.
