We started the house hunting process last fall and knew we needed someone who had the superpower to meet the parents of baby twins where they were and someone who would be a good guide to the north metro of the Twin Cities. Tamara Janzen lived up to those expectations and beyond for both the buy and the sell. She was quite knowledgeable of the area we were interested in and knew to ask the right questions when we were looking for the perfect house for our now family of four. I enjoyed looking at houses with Tamara and the members of her team, The Burgeson Group. We shared lots of laughs when going through houses and when it was needed, Tamara also provided us with great wisdom. I remember one time we were on the second showing of a house and she told me, I am hearing a lot of we could make it work not I love it. It was good to have someone who wasnt just interested in making the sale, but ensuring that we loved our new home. Tamara was also great at working with us to put in offers. I would highly recommend having a guide through the ins and outs of real estate. She would remind us of our position and what we could ask for and sometimes, what we couldnt. When it came to getting the inspection report, she was very thorough at going through it with us and letting us know what items were customarily negotiable. I appreciated having someone who could walk us through this process with the experience that she has in the industry. Furthermore, she was very good about working with us outside of business hours and at times, after the kids had gone to bed. I was not planning on asking someone to do that for us, but I appreciated that she would be available when it was necessary. When it came to the sale of our former home, Tamara also exceeded our expectations. She talked with us about what were the strengths of that house and how we could make it stronger before putting it on the market. When we found a buyer, she was diligent about making sure the details were correct in the purchase agreement and that everything was ready for the closing. If you need a real estate agent in the north metro (and I believe she works in other areas as well up north), you couldnt ask for anyone better than Tamara or the other ladies at the Burgeson Group. I look forward to bringing my kids to their toy drive every year to see Santa.

Tamara made my first time selling a house easy and stress free! She explained everything up front and was honest through the entire process. Tamara went above and beyond and I will definitely be contacting her when I'm ready to buy again!

Tamara was phenomenal to say the least. Very responsive to all of our needs and questions. Always willing make herself available to us. She made this typical stressful process the complete opposite. Best realtor around, and even a better person. My family and I will be forever grateful to her for finding our forever home.
