Loved it here! We were here for work and the girls here made us feel welcome and were very friendly and helpful. Its just ways away from major stores and shopping. Beautiful country and every employee here are Fantastic and have become like family. Breakfast served 7 days a week and soup and breadsticks served Monday thru Thursday eves. Gen Manager Julie was a gem and so helpful when needed. I cant say anything bad about this quaint little hotel. Our experience in Roseau wasnt the best but staying here made up for the ugliness we encountered. We will stay again in the future when we come for a visit. Arrived as a stranger left as family. Ill say it again, it was very clean, well kept up even tho there was some construction going on we were taken care of . They knew our schedule and helped so we could sleep during day and not be bothered. Very accommodating and we miss all you girls and a few guys. lol. Its a very small town with only a BK, Dairy Queen and subway for fast food. But the quint little bars and restaurants have good food especially if you want good pizza go to Legends bar and grill on the square. Best pizza ever!!!

Wish there was somewhere else to stay but this was it. Travelled with multiple people and the hotel was gross. Our mattress cover wasn't changed before we got in the room. Evidenced from nasty crumbs all over it then covered with a fitted sheet. When I asked the gal to change it out she brought only the sheets and set the pillows on the crumbs and expected me to be ok with putting my head on them without new pillowcases. Curtains are made of paper and double sided tape. My poor kid got woken up to it falling on him in the middle of the night. No care in the world by staff that it happened. Thick spider webs in the corners of the walls with dirt and dust piled up. Only nice thing about this place was the night staff gal. She TRIED and actually cared. I get it's small town so it may be dated but there's no excuse for it being disgusting.

DO NOT STAY HERE. The manager has no business being a manager of a hotel. She is RUDE, HATEFUL, and does NOT care about the guest. We are in a room that has not been remodeled. The mattresses are so broken down that the springs constantly poke you in the back. The water pressure in the shower is non existent. The view from our window is a mobile home park. And I could go on and on. After being here for 3 days, this awful manager knocks at our door wanting us to pay $20 per day per dog. We were told we were in a room that has not been remodeled since we did have dogs. Keep in mind, this is supposed to be a pet friendly hotel. MY HUSBAND AND 3 YEAR OLD CHILD SPENT 2 HOURS PICKING UP DOG POOP ON OUR FIRST DAY HERE AND WERE TOLD BY OTHER GUEST THAT LIVE IN THIS HOTEL (with dogs)THAT THE MANAGER DID NOT CARE AND WAS ONLY HERE FOR A PAYCHECK. My husband's company is paying for this hotel. Worst experience with a hotel in my 44 years of existence. All other employees here have been great, but the manager needs a new profession NOT dealing with the public. Possibly the laundry room? Extremely disappointed in what could have been a great experience. Rooms: Out dated, especially for the price. Very small TV's, uncomfortable beds but above all, no hospitality. Nearby activities: This is a very small town of under 3,000 people. It's safe and quiet but there are only a couple of fast food options and a couple of bars. Nothing to do here unfortunately. Safety: This town is quiet and safe. Food & drinks: Burger King and Subway Noteworthy details: According to many many other reviews, others had the same issues with the manager that we did. The hotel would be somewhat ok but the manager ruins it for every person she comes in contact with. She is seriously awful...
