        I travel extensively for work and this Hampton Inn definitely shows its age. I've stayed here probably half a dozen times over the past half year. Staff are courteous and always super nice. But there are some things that just can't be ignored. The elevators, which travel all of 3 floors take FOREVER just to go floor to floor, not sure why that is. The bathrooms and rooms in general have not been updated in a LONG time. Poor water pressure in the showers and I've noticed it can take awhile to get hot water. Average hotel over all, but at rates around $105-115 a night, it's one of the least expensive "mid-tier" hotels in town.

        Spent last Monday/Tuesday here. We had stayed at two other local motels/Hotels recently and I wish we had been here each time. This place was practically spotless! No dirt, no offensive smells and the bathroom was very nice. Beds were good and even though the place got filled it was Quiet! Decent breakfast and soup in the evening at no extra cost. Best room rates around also! Choose this place first next time! Rooms: Great Safety: Good Food & drinks: Very good

        The breakfast is delicious. Their coffee is really good too. They have a late checkout ( noon) which works great for us when we come up for my husband's Mayo appointments. Rooms: Rooms have always and clean every time we've stayed here. Food & drinks: Great breakfast and within walking distance of restaurants for lunch or dinner.

      The Hampton Inn Rochester hotel is located just two miles from downtown Rochester, Minnesota and the world famous Mayo Clinic. Our hotel strives to be the cleanest and friendliest hotel in town. The hotel is conveniently located along South Broadway/US Highway 63, just a few minutes from the US Highway 52, Interstate 90, Rochester International Airport, Rochester Technical & Community College, the Federal Medical Center and IBM. Our hotel is also within an hour drive of several very popular destinations such as the quaint towns in Minnesota Bluff Country that include - Lanesboro, Harmony and Preston. Hotel amenities include coffeemakers, irons and ironing boards, hair dyers, plus there are over 75 channels on each 25 inch TV.
