        Mimi Hasslebalch was connected to me for family law legal advice. She was unorganized, unhelpful, and extremely unprofessional. After yelling "I'm not here to argue with you ma'am" as I'm trying to ask for guidance, she proceeded to study (not read) a statute out loud. She flat out told me family law wasn't even her practice. Staffing issues or no staffing issues, there is no excuse for being rude to a survivor of domestic abuse trying to protect their special needs child from an abusive partner. Survivors of domestic abuse are a joke to the state of Minnesota.

      We do help Olmsted County residents, but only on cases that LAOC is not able to take, and if you meet our case priorities. The SMRLS SE Region mainly helps the surrounding communities (11 counties!) I'm sorry if that was inconvenient for you and hope you are able to have a successful outcome on your issue.
