Bayside Saloon & Grill

I am rating this place four stars because once we arrived, they told us we only had one hour to eat because they needed the space for someone else. As we were all trying to rush eating the server, come towards the end of us eating, and told us we didn't need to rush anymore because they had placed the other party somewhere else. So we felt we had to eat super fast and not enjoy our food.

I was just at Bayside restaurant tonight. I love that place! I have to give a shout out to Charlie, a new server. Charlie was excellent in every way. His service was prompt but I was most impressed with how friendly he was and how he made us feel special. He has has a great personality and really made us feel like he loved working at this restaurant.! Give him a huge raise!!

Cozy all American diner and bar, full of friendly folk, and that pleasant Midwestern service. The food was ok, but that's about it. Ordering the shrimp cocktail may have been an error on my part. But it looked and tasted like five shrimp from the fridge, put on a plate, served with a semi fitting dipping sauce. The California burger was combined well and had a nice quality paddy. The bun had just been sliced through, and the overall experience might have been improved quite a bit if the bun had been toasted, fried or something.
