Wow! Tried to explain what I would like him to help with and he got rude with me and wouldn't let me finish explaining my issue I wanted to have him help me with and hung up on me. Will make sure to let everyone I know to stay away from this grouch. BTW, Bob, had plenty of other business I'd have liked to take your way and refer a lot of others to, but will make sure to steer clear. *update after owner reply* Removing a bolt from a bolt action is "working on a gun"?? If you would have stopped repeatedly interrupting me and let me finish explaining. Thr bolt from a .22 Crickett was removed to CLEAN it and a spring fell out of a place it shouldn't have even been able to fall out of.. i ordered eplacement spring from the manufacturer and to put it back in place needed removal of an peened pin, which, since I am NOT a gunsmith, called you for. But you were rude and kept interrupting me and would not let me explain. The rear spring that had fallen out (and lost) clearly wasn't the original one that needed to be put in from the rear by removing the peened pin holding in the black cooking piece. I wasn't asking you to teach me anything. I was trying to explain what the problem was and if it was a service you could provide. Don't worry. Called up Atomic Tactical in Savage and they were more than happy to take a look at it for me. Had plenty of other work done by them and should have just went there first, but found your site and seemed like you did good work and are a bit closer to me. Sorry for bothering you.

Ive had a number of gun services with Bob. Cleaning of complicated guns, mounting of scopes, and repairs of broken parts. I like he doesnt make you feel dumb when I ask dumb questions. He takes the time to talk through the issue. More importantly, problems fixed and back to hunting!!! Best in the business.

I reached out to Bob to see if he had time to possibly do an adjustable comb on a Browning 425. After meeting with him, dry mounting the gun and with my site input and his visual during my gun mounting, he confirmed that that the stock length fit but he recommended adding a Jones adjustable butt plate vs. an adjustable comb. I was fortunate that he had the parts in stock and he was able to put the gun on the bench and finish it in a very timely manner. Want to shoot better?
