Was referred to this camp from one of her team members parents. This camp was the first overnight camp for her (10 yo) but with the location (other then the drive out and to pick up) there was plenty of room and and the staff was great. The registration and check in process was not too difficult, did need to lookup immunization and such. Fortunately she was able to be bunked with some team mates which made things a little more comfortable. The price is very reasonable for what is provided. Overall I think a good value and fun for the girls. They seem to help the girls not only with basketball but teamwork and positive reinforcement. Comments from my daughter: rooms are nice (at a bible camp building this year); food is really good for a camp (meatloaf, mac & cheese); liked her coaches and counselors; a lot of basketball (making them tired); being up later then normal was fun; courts and baskets were in good condition; non-basketball activities included the lake (water-pad, paddle boarding, swimming, kayaking) volleyball, board games, and other things like just hanging out with the other girls; first night is a bit challenging as start things off at 6 pm, some basketball, and then the excitement of being in an overnight camp; have a canteen open during free times with various items so she was happy I gave her some money. She definitely recommends it to others and she wants to go back.

My 10-year daughter is relatively new to basketball (small rural community in MN), but already developing a love for the game. I was concerned with sending her to camp because 1) it was her first overnight camp and 2) I'm sure there were campers of a similar age with more years of basketball experience. She came home on the last day EXTREMELY excited about Arrowood Camp, even singing a camp cheer for days afterwards. She said she made 11 new friends and is excited to go back. I love that this camp takes a well-rounded approach of not only helping to develop basketball skills but also developing positive teamwork and relationship skills. Thank you to DeeDee and Roxy (and the rest of the staff) for creating such a fun, positive, and challenging week for these girls!
