image Im giving it a 3 stars cause its not worth what we have to pay. We missing lights from the living and 2 from the bedroom. When we come check out if looks like they were going to install the lights from all the room but when we actually come live here.. theres no lights in 3 areas

image I wouldn't recommend Stonehill if you want privacy. The walls are so thin you can literally hear your neighbors.
One night, it felt like my neighbors were basically talking in my room- I could hear everything they said word to word which was worrying . I'm glad I left

Hello FIFA King, we apologize for any discomfort you experienced due to noise caused by neighbors during your stay here. We encourage all residents to reach out to us in the leasing office if they experience an issue like this, as this is not the typical experience we hear from our community. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and take care.

image Luxury price, cheap quality.
NOISE
Ridiculous noise. Floors are extremely creaky, floors and walls are very thin. Could hear neighbors talking, TV, footsteps, appliances, water running, even snoring. Kids running and biking through the hallways. Heard one while writing this. The whole building shakes when they take the dumpsters out of the garages (early in the morning of course). If I just shift my weight while standing still the floor creaks. My door to the hallway is not even sealed well (light comes through) so noise from the hallway is also clear.
UPSTAIRS NEIGHBORS
Had noise issues with all 3 of my upstairs neighbors and the landlords were useless. I could hear a cat running around and it was so loud I thought it was a child. Imagine how loud an actual child would have been. Or a large dog, which they allow here. One neighbor woke me up early almost every morning. They were so loud that my door would literally rattle and I could feel the building shaking even with noise cancelling headphones on. You can clearly hear/smell neighbors through the bathroom vents as well.
LANDLORDS
Landlords refused to let me break the lease early and tried to gaslight like it was my fault somehow. They offered to transfer and put me on a new lease so they could squeeze more money from me in a unit that was probably just as bad. The early termination clause doesn't allow you to terminate in winter and you have to pay two extra months anyway, so it's going to be useless for most people.
Landlords ignored multiple problems or responded to tell me they wouldn't do anything about it. This includes my neighbors playing drumset, car alarms going off in the middle of the night, my shower pooling water which caused constant mold growth (see picture), and more noise issues.
AMENITIES
Gym is too hot in the summer (75 in early summer when I was the only one in there) because there are giant windows and the A/C can't keep up. They have two treadmills but one was broken the whole time.
Hot tub is not in the main building so it is seasonal.
FACILITIES
Old dingy building (built in 88 out of wood) it seriously looks like a worse version of the hotel from the shining.
They don't maintain the path behind the building. There is literally no other walking path to the sidewalk so taking a walk in the winter is straight up dangerous. Most people walk through the roundabout entrance which is always slippery and has cars coming through.
They make you move your car out of the underground garage in winter quite often. There is not adequate street parking and they don't even reserve it the night before so you have to get up early morning of.
MISC ISSUES
In unit laundry is tiny, some items can't fit at all like a sleeping bag, large comforter.
Tons of junk mail
Maintenance is quick to respond but can't fix something even simple like a toilet handle and refuse to fix anything difficult, even when it's required for a basic living standard (my shower as mentioned above).
They don't change the recycling often enough so you have to be quick to use it before it's overflowing.
SUMMARY
Awful landlords overcharging for a building that is overdue for demolition.

image since the new building manager laura took over its been quite different! My mother lives here as well as her boyfriend. Laura stares my mom and her boyfriend down time to time when shes sees them and never greets them at all. Any maintenance problems she has she calls the office to relay the information like anyone would. If laura answers its always very passive aggressive/ sarcastic. In the beginning she seemed quite nice.strange. If my mom ever has to go the office for questions. Laura looks up and then back to her computer/phone answering her questioning not making eye contact. My mom is a woman of color and so is her boyfriend. My mom has asked a few other neighbors as well if they've ever had problems with her and 2 other people told her they've had similar problems. One Example is she contacted a few people to let them know their apartments smells of cigarette/marijuana, where there car is parked, and having pets out in the car that aren't even entering the building. Were all pretty upset with her stay here. If this is not addressed soon id like to follow up in court. Shes been a tenant here for a few years now! Thank you!

image I wish I can give less than one star to this management. I lived here 6 years. The day I moved out they became racist. Well 6 years you imagine your paint on wall will not the same. They have this excuse for not refunding security deposit, and also its small apartments and cooking smell will be always there. That management lady dont like Indian spice smell where whole world is crazy to get this food. She literally racist and said Indian people left all this smells. Over 6 years it happens not one time but multiple times of this racist practices, you cant have bird feeder in your patio while others can have bikes and all and so on. Our two expensive bikes are stolen, there are others incident, they dont take any responsibilities. Its also risky in winter, you cant walk on side walk or walking area near fountain to wait for bus. Its always icy as they dont care. You will see smiling on their face when you planning to rent but its all fake smiling; Hope some one not has to loose security deposit just like us.
