Thank you for supporting my wife and I through our first home birth. Olivia is encouraging, calming, and knowledgeable. She genuinely cared for us and empowered us leading up to, during, and after the birth. Most importantly, we felt safe every step of the way. Olivia is the utmost professional. There is no question we will be going through her practice for our next birth.

When my husband and I found out we were expecting baby #4 we knew right away that we were interested in a home-birth. We had worked with midwives in the hospital setting in the past, but wanted a different experience for our last baby. After meeting with Olivia for the first time we knew it was a perfect match. She not only was extremely knowledgeable and professional, but also has such a calm presence. She provided very individualized care for baby and mom, I always looked forward to my prenatal visits with her! When it came time to labor she provided support and expertise and gave us a sense of security being at home. She enabled us to have the home-birth of our dreams! I would 100% recommend Olivia and am thankful for the care she provided!

Exceptional care! She has a very kind and loving family centered approach. She wants to make sure that you make the decisions for your family and tries to serve the decisions you make to the best of her ability. I really did not feel any pressure to make decisions I didn't want to make. But she help me find resources so I could feel comfortable about the decisions I was making. I found having a midwife come into my home was much more comfortable to me than giving birth in the hospital. With my first child I gave birth in the hospital and with my second child I gave birth at home and even though I didn't have any pain relievers at home I found the process way more comfortable and enjoyable. I think that mostly has to do with being comfortable in an environment I am familiar with and she really caters towards maintaining that familiarity and comfort. She also is very well trained so she was able to administer me things like pitocin when I needed it. Safety is very important to me and she was able to provide that for me while maintaining the comfort in my home. I very much appreciate her natural and holistic approach while providing for necessary medical needs.

I can not say enough good things about Olivia not only as a provider but as a person, she is absolutely wonderful and 100% the person you want present at your birth. My experience with her was my first pregnancy, and I knew I wanted to look into something other than the standard hospital birth. My husband was super hesitant about the whole process but at the first visit, she answered all of his questions and put him at ease with everything. Throughout my whole pregnancy Olivia was thorough, attentive, and really took her time with all the appointments and actually cared about how I was doing instead of rushing through everything like it typically is at a doctors office. I never once questioned her abilities or mine/my babys safety as she explained everything and asked for my consent before doing anything. The labor and delivery plus postpartum process is something I would recommend to everyone from just that aspect alone, as Ive never felt so cared for in my life. Having her and the rest of the teams (the nurse and doula) support made me feel supported and made postpartum a much easier transition. I will forever recommend Olivia, she truly is a special gem in the world of obstetric care where women arent given the respect or informed consent they deserve. Id highly recommend considering a home birth if you havent already.

We moved from out of state during my second pregnancy (32 weeks), and I was lucky enough to have found Olivia to be our midwife. I knew I wanted a home birth but was a little nervous to find a new midwife so close to my due date. However, after my initial conversation with Olivia, I felt completely at ease and comfortable. She answered all of our questions along the way and always provided information so that my husband and I could make informed decisions together. She was also able to do all of our prenatal and postnatal appointments right in our home, as well, which was so helpful! Olivia is professional, knowledgeable, and kind. It was amazing being able to stay at home throughout the whole process labor, birth, and postpartum and not have to leave in the middle of contractions or to drive back home after baby was born. She helped me feel safe, empowered, and informed every step of the way. I could not recommend Olivia enough and will absolutely be back in her care in the future!
