Best place to donate used tools and other items that would end up trashed at Savers or Goodwill. Also supports a great cause.
In terms of shopping, prices seemed fair. I'm happy to pay a bit more given that it supports legitimate charity work.

I used to really love this place and the philosophy behind it but something has changed. You can donate used goods and leftover supplies to this place and the money raised helps fund housing for the needy. The Restore used to do more than that. It helped me a new homeowner to find affordable merchandise and restore my short-sale into a livable home while unemployed.
More recently, management has seen fit to grossly overcharge for merchandise sometimes more than retail. Someone has taken their eye off the ball here trying to maximize profit. The Restore seems to have forgotten that they also helped the less fortunate by making used items affordable. They need to get back to their principals and I hate to think a new struggling homeowner wont have this once great resource.
