        Today the water was crystal clear. The beach has also been pretty clean from seaweed. There has been someone other than the city raking the weeds from the shore. It seems that Mound only does it once every other week. It's a nice place to go relax and cool off. The water isn't very deep but it's pretty weed free in the swim area. 10/30/23 The swim buoys have been removed, so if you go swimming, make sure you keep an eye out for boats. It was a great summer for swimming!!

        There's a high point just South called Wytch Hill on old maps, two houses South along the Beach. Evil lurks there.
