I'd gladly show you the property and the sub-par craftsmanship provided by Cash Concrete. I'm now sitting on a finished new-construction home what is below code and cannot be sold.

POURED SLAB BELOW CODE! Cash Concrete was hired to pour a 2,100 sq/ft slab on grade home for me. After completion, we discovered the slab was poured at 1 7/8" in multiple locations (code is 3 1/2" and the plans called for 4"). I paid for 4" of concrete. When confronted, he would not take responsibility. He has thrown up his hands and walked away. He is now avoiding texts, calls, certified letters, and inquires from the Better Business Bureau. I personally met with him twice, in a closed setting, to come to an amicable resolution that would protect his reputation while resolving this clear code violation; however, he denies culpability of the work he performed and was paid to complete. He was the only sub-contractor on the job who poured concrete... How he thinks he isn't responsible is beyond my comprehension. Anyone interested in seeing his work, please reach out to me. This is not a smear campaign - but a PSA for those considering Cash Concrete. Learn from my mistakes. If you've already used Cash Concrete, be advised - structural warranty is 10-year by MN code; of which Dilworth, Glyndon and Audubon, MN have all adopted (not all cities are required to adopt state building code, oddly enough (ref MN Dept of Labor)). The man will not stand by his work, even when given multiple opportunities to rectify the issues. Attached image is one of six locations we discovered throughout the slab that are poured below code. We stopped core drilling after we determined that 50% of the approximate 12 holes drilled were below code. 6/9/23 Update: An engineer surveyed the slab using a ground penetrating radar and discovered that approximately 90-92% of the 2,100 sq/ft slab is below code of 3.5". To fix, we have to remove all cabinets, finishes, trim, doors, flooring, plumbing, floor heat lines, ridged foam and concrete from the home - then reinstall it all in reverse order. Cash continues to remain noncommunicative regarding this matter. Service: Foundation installation
