We've stayed here many times over 20+ years. The facility still seems well maintained and cozy. The lobby, breakfast area, and pool area with many tables all accommodate our huge family to socialize. Our only "issue" was small breakfast selection and a freezing pool. And our room wasn't cleaned, but maybe we had to request that, and I know they were slammed that week getting ready for our group and had other rooms to turn over that night whereas we weren't checking out.

NOT KID FRIENDLY!!! DO NOT STAY HERE! POOL IS FREEZING!!! We booked this hotel because of the pool. We are in town so our kids can see their grandparents. We wanted a hotel with a pool for entertainment before bed. Our kids are 2 and under. When we arrived my two year old was very excited about the pool. We checked in and immediately changed them to their swimsuits. When we got down to the pool and tried to get in but the water was freezing. I couldn't even get in as an adult. I immediately went to the front desk to ask if the pool was closed and she said no. I told her the pool was freezing and she came and checked the temp. She said the pool is 72 degrees and she was told to keep it set to 72. I told her it is unbearable but she didn't care. We had to take the kids back up to the room crying. My two year old didn't understand why it was so cold and he couldn't go in. I called the front desk to speak to a manager or to get a corporate number and the same girl answered and wouldn't provide me with either. She said the front desk manager would be in at 7 am. I am going to request the general managers number. This was a horrible experience and turned a good trip into a bad one. Never stay here, they don't care. How can you say a 2 year old and 7 month old can get in 72 degree water. How can an adult get in 72 degree water comfortably?? Horrible front desk lady. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
