Bren Road Station 55+ Apartments

I went here to inquire about a 3 bedroom apartment and was told they didn't accept kids. Come to find out Brenda Smith confirmed to me that they have two families living next door to her with 5 kids and the other family with 4 kids. I felt discriminated Then they harassed my friend Brenda Smith who resides in the building made me not feel safe to want to bring my family to live there. Not sure if this is a place to call home. The management came out in the lobby and accused Brenda Smith of treating the management to where they were going to call the police on her. As a witness to the whole thing my friend never threatened her. I'm not sure of the safety of the seniors but I'll think twice

I work for the county, and I also have an elderly Aunt that lives on the premises. There are complaints from residents regarding safety concerns. This is a senior living environment, however; they do not have routine security accessing the building, nor security cameras. My aunt sleeps with items secured against the door inside her apartment because she fears that someone may come in while she is sleeping. There are several young adults running in and out the complex and incidents of others smoking marijuana outside the complex. This is not fair for seniors to reside under these conditions and management should take better precautions to ensure the safety of residence and help to feel more at peace.

This is my 2nd day living here. So far I love it. Manager and everyone else in the office are so wonderful. Usually office will be nice and cheerful ect. Then after lease true colors starts to show. Not here they make ya feel like home
