The Wedding Fair

The vendors listed online were not the ones at the wedding fair, we went specifically to talk to two of them listed online, and neither of them were there, or listed on the map/guide. There were no empty booths, which means they didn't "no show". The event just failed to update their site or set clear expectations about who is going to be attending. No one ever checked our tickets, so it doesn't look like we had to pay, but we did... The space was very small and the line was HUGE! We're glad we were one of the first in there, because we were out within an hour. If we had been towards the back of the line, there would have been no space to move. Talk about super spreader event!

Be very cautious with the vendors who attend. Lots of national vendors and predatory vendors who are offering raffles, but will require you to pay or sit through aggressive sales pitches (for 2+ hours) in order to redeem your prize in full. If you go, only deal with vendors who are local and who have an established reputation in the community. They might offer slight discounts, but if youre attending the Wedding Fair to find vendors at discounted rates, youll be pretty disappointed. The only valuable thing I got was connecting with a local calligraphy artist. Other than that, Ive been getting bombarded with emails I dont want and offers that Ive won something with pages of fine print. Not worth it in my opinion.

Got my tickets for half price online, but I accidentally purchased multiple times, I emailed them and within an hour I got response from Josh F. Who refunded my error purchases! Super friendly, fast, and stress free. I was worried I would have to wait days before I heard a response, not the case here. I am VERY pleased with the fast response and fixing my accidental multiple purchases, I checked my accounts and saw the refunds immediately! Cant wait for the Expo on Sunday !! Thank you ! :)
