Older guy working who was super rude to my husband and talking about where he was going to hide the body. (Super strange). He overcharged us and incorrectly instructed us on return information. Save yourself the time + go to the other MPLS location a mile away.

Horrible Customer service. The person working the register was an older man. He clearly hates customer service he was rude and just annoyed at any questions asked. When I went to return the vehicle he claimed the back was messy and was going to charge me for cleaning. I said well I'm right here I can just clean it quickly. He claimed it was too late for that I had already returned it. I then asked him what the hell his problem was because he had been acting odd through the entire process. He then started screaming at me that I was banned from U-Haul and to get off the property. This is just crazy to me how this is what customer service is now. If you can avoid this place I recommend you do.

Awful customer service, the manager Paige is extremely rude and not helpful. Go through Penske instead if you want your reservation guaranteed and better service! I wish there was an option for zero stars. I booked a U-haul on July 8th for 24 hours for a move that was supposed to occur July 29th-30th. Keep in mind I made the original booking 3 weeks ahead of time. I got a call on July 24th, almost 3 weeks later and less than a week before my move, telling me that there was no availability for a 24 hour rental anywhere within hours of me. They said the maximum I could have the truck was 10 hours which did not work for my closing times, I needed the 24 hour rental. Paige said there was nothing that could be done unless I wanted to drive hours away to pick up a truck. I said I would just need to cancel my reservation then, and panic set in. After doing this I went back on the website where I saw the disclaimer we guarantee your reservation or we give you $50. I called back because after seeing this I wanted the 50$ for my reservation not being guaranteed. Paige was super rude and said I only get the 50$ If I followed through with my reservation. I said how can I follow through with the reservation if you cant give me the reservation I need which I originally booked 3 weeks ago? She had no answer for me and agreed when I said that it is basically a lie and impossible that they will give 50$ if they dont guarantee your reservation. Paige just wanted to get off the phone with me and said budget and Penske are great companies. Zero accountability for Uhauls poor customer service. Uhaul just wants to book as many reservations as possible and doesnt care about providing good service unfortunately. Luckily I was able to book a truck with Penske, although more expensive, but worth it because they promised me the 24 hours would be honored. Spend the money and go to Penske instead! Much better and more reliable service.
