Website, part of a major health system while they have the most specialists I don't see how to schedule & I would be less likely to use if I did not have Fairview or M Health insurance which I've had before and they didn't send me to the U of M. Even though Dr Jain & I have a lot of similar clinical interests and I have a cyst on my pancreas and some cardio vascular disease but due to my age I don't think that such a specialized group of physicians would want to see me. Sometimes I don't take care of my health because I dropped out of college myself after the stock market crash & I turned 18 in 2008 when Obama went into office. I have occult hernias which are undetectable masses & I got hurt in 2016 & haven't felt good since, because many masses are undetectable masses I've never been able to get the surgery that I need in order to prevent or correct strangulated hernias a potentially love threatening condition. This place is probably good but I perceive it as too much red tape, very much they overcharge for not very comprehensive services. I like being able to see their catalog of doctors but I have less interest in calling & talking to the main scheduling line about my most personal & deeply held values, and theirs, and rather get straight to the science without all the academic red tape. Doctors looked at imaging studies and they were not able to understand anything that I had to say & they really thought that it might just go away if I accepted other people's beliefs about how stressful it is/was to be a doctor or a worker during the pandemic & they really believed that this stress was causing my symptoms & no one will help me because they have been inculturated with the belief that work is a virtue & independence is not if someone tells you how the real world works most people are gonna reject another person's values & beliefs and substitute them with their own set of beliefs even to the extent that we welcome other cultures which we consider sub-cultures of our own, a sincerely held beliefs but not a universally valued belief (such as human rights) and therefore the substitution of said belief for a more economically convenient one. It is very inconvenient to schedule with a specialist & ultimately I would not recommend to anyone who doesn't intend to be inculcated with irrelevant information & work for the rest of their life until permanently disabled. If that's what you need to do in order to consider yourself a success more power to you just know that you can't always get off the hamster wheel once you accept the designation and belief that we are all patients in the broader sense, then we should really unionize, some doctors can have unions. Which gives them more control over the practice of medicine. Having occult Hernias & being forced by pshych to not call them occult hernias & to claim that they do not exist or that my feelings are not valid clearly violates the intent of both Obamacare & the First Amendment. What I don't get is why economic freedoms look inherently militarized when we look at the constitution but academic & medical & personal freedoms can be easily decided by a wealthy minority without any input or informed consent from the governed, but consent can't be informed if I'm not able to communicate basic information like where the pain is and why. If money is speech how come I don't get any?
