image Currently living in Hillsborough and I have had no issues. The couple times maintenance has needed to come in for things they let me know ahead of time. So myself and my dog are not here and anything that has needed fixed has gotten fixed quickly. I am certain there are places that they manage that are terrible given these reviews but I have had no issues and every employee I've interacted with at any point here has been incredibly considerate and good at their job. I even had to pay rent late once and I let them know what was happening and why and they waved the late fee for me. If I could afford the rent here any longer I would not even be moving out when my lease is up. But unfortunately I did not budget correctly for the change in the cost of living when I moved and I got to go somewhere else.

image Worst experience in all of my renting career. Was at one of their properties before Steven Scott/Bader bought them. It went from bad to worse.
Any problems you have will be ignore. Just pay rent and be silent . So if you enjoy domestics, your unit shaking 24/7. Repairs half done. Ignored when you have concerns. By all means move into one of their lovely over priced properties. Water leaks galore , Swat team police presence ..often
And please do not leave a cookie cutter response to contact you. The office was contacted plenty of times and we were ignored as if we werent rent paying tenants of 6 years without problems.

image So tired of getting my car towed. I am a disabled single mother and this is the third time my car got towed. I called management early Thursday to let them know what was going on with my garage and that I am disabled and cannot walk long distances. Today March the 29th 2024 my car got towed even though I talked to someone in the office this morning and let them know that I was unable to use the garage and I was told by them to park my car on the parking lot and just put my permit in the window. There was no visitors parking spot available for me to park in and my garage still did not get the ice and still had ice where I could not get in my garage nor use my garage door. Now I have to pay to get my car out of the impound when it shouldn't have been there from the start. Steven Scott management sucks because I'm tired of explaining things to them and I cannot get things fixed and my car is constantly being towed feeling targeted. One time my find cars got towed because I could not fit her car in my garage because I was using her car and I took the parking permit and put in the window and her car got towed then I got in a car accident on a Friday call them couldn't get a parking permit don't forget that I'm disabled and can't walk so I have to park close to the door because I can't walk far. And got the rental towed.. and then for today for my own car to get towed even when I explained to them in the office and they told me it was fine it is so effing aggravating I am a single mother and cannot afford to get a car out of the impound when I was told something different by the offense now I'm going to be behind on rent because I have to go get my car out of the impound due to them not giving me what I needed. And they were informed that I cannot use the garage that I paid due to the ice on the ground by my garage because they're not fixing the pipe from the wall that takes the water from the roof to the ground. Is frozen turning into ice and I cannot walk on I used to do to my knee being messed up. And don't forget that I called them Thursday and Friday while I was at work to let them know what was going on

image From the day i moved in i haven't had any peace from the walls being so thin where i hear my neighbor's snore the managers in the office complain all the time about my dog barking too much but you call this a pet friendly community yeah right!!! They accused me of smoking marijuana after they know i have a history of health issues which their corporate office denied me of reasonable commendations' she claimed it was unfair to other residents like they don't believe people can struggle or have on going health issues. Yea whatever 'moving forward i fell back on my rent i went through hell ,and hot water to find an agency to pay them 4'000 of back rent plus late fees because they took me to court and had their slimy ass lawyer to represent them ,and not make any payment arrangements that would work in my favor they gave me two weeks to come up with 4'000 , so after i found an agency to pay them thinking i was in the clear to keep my home i received an email days later after they gave them a check stating that their not renewing my lease now i have a week or two left in apartment ,and nowhere to go with my child and my dog now all of a sudden the staff in the office have been replaced by a new staff and they are no different still stating that they can't assist me unfortunately my status remains the same, and they want to tell me they love me, and oh it's just business first of all you don't even know me from a can of paint smfh but yet their still trying to squeeze money out of me for previous rent owed from a struggling single mother with health issues that has nowhere to go' now all of sudden they have a new management name Bader Mgmt but still are under steven Scott one of the worst management companies i have ever experienced in my life!!!

image Lived in one of their properties for 14 months-would not recommend. I spent seven months trying to get them to fix banging radiators. This was 24 hours a day banging that would not stop. Management could have cared less. The unit was uninhabitable throughout the entire winter-they never offered to actually FIX the problem. I was told it would cost too much, and that radiators bang. No offer to reduce rent, pay for subsequent forced moving expenses, or even just listen. They only stepped up when I contacted the City of Minneapolis and they were slapped with a violation, and even then, blocked my number, refused to take care of any other maintenance issues, and laughed at me when I said Id contacted the city. Slumlords. Their online billing system charges almost $20 a month in fees, they wont rent to you unless you have renters insurance, they charge for all utilities except heat, and the rent is high for what you get. They have units that cannot be filled, for good reason. Id heard for years not to rent from the Steven Scott monopoly, but did it anyway. Wont make that mistake twice, highly suggest avoiding this rental company.
