We love LHUMP! Fantastic teachers, welcoming community, and such a supportive and happy environment to grow and learn. Our daughter loved her time as a student and we were so impressed by the school.

We love LHUMP and cannot recommend this preschool enough! The teachers (and staff) are wonderful very nurturing, engaging and were always incredibly supportive of our child. The school is a bright, happy place and it is a fantastic environment for young kids. The teachers were always very accessible and communicative, and you could tell they truly cared for their students. The community of parents that weve met through the school has been very welcoming and weve been able to form some great friendships. Our eldest attended LHUMP for 2 years and well be sending our youngest there as soon as they are old enough.

Lake Harriet UM preschool has been a gift to our children and our family! The team of teachers have each helped to form our girls in unique and beautiful ways. When the world has been a bit scary for us all, LHUMP has been a constant and a positive place for our entire family. We whole heartedly recommend this school for kids and families alike!

Lake Harriet UM Preschool is a wonderful place for your child and for you! Not only do they have one if the highest quality programs in Minneapolis, you will love being part of the community of families! My oldest son attended for 3 years before I started my own preschool (Spanish Immersion) and it was my model of how to do preschool. I learned so much from the teachers on how to be a better mom. Its been 20 years since my son attended and they have touched the lives of thousands of families since then. One of his teachers is still there! You should definitely find out why the oldest preschool in MN is so special!

Such a calm, nurturing environment for preschoolers! All of the teachers are highly experienced experts in this field. They keep the children busy with play-based learning, fun and engaging projects, plenty of time to move their bodies, and lots of social/emotional learning. We are so grateful for our time at the preschool!
