The nursing staff is unmatched! So amazing! The chairs are the WORST!. About a year ago they got new chairs and I was hoping for more comfort. Nope, they are like chairs from the dentists office. My infusions are five hour, so I am there all day. Its really bad. How hard is it to find a comfy recliner? Is that too much to ask for?

Staff is great, super friendly. Infusion always goes well. Chairs are horrible; they're worse than airplane seats. Bring your own pillow to help with comfort.

Fairview Home Infusion provides a seamless transition from hospital to home care for IV medication, enteral (tube feeding), and skilled nursing care in the comfort of my own home. Unlike larger chain infusion services, FHI works directly with my entire medical team to provide continuous care and an additional level of oversight. Most visiting RNs have been friendly and knowledgeable in many areas of my care. The one downside is the organization is part of the Fairview system but have their own electronic medical records independent from the Fairview hospitals and clinics. This has caused some inconsistencies from one record to the other when something could be easier managed by utilizing one electronic medical records program.

Staff and services are great. My issue lies more in disappointing space for in-office infusion. The infusion area at their location has antiquated recliner chairs that are not comfortable when you have to be in them for hours on end. Blankets are coarse and snacks are incredibly limited. There is nothing warm about the infusion space and it feels bizarre to walk through their newly renovated building into such a sterile, uncomfortable infusion environment - what makes it more frustrating is my previous brand infusion site which is no longer covered by my insurance took 1-1.5 hrs less time for infusing - having nothing at all to do with actual medication dispensation and everything to do with slow protocols and not being ready for the patient at arrival.
