Thanks for being so responsive and willing to go out of your way to help us find the perfect trumpet for my son. He loves it! Great to know that you offer lessons (beyond just trumpet), too.

Update from owners response: I understand that, but taking 20 minutes (1/3 of the lesson) to tune a guitar, and then 10 minutes to set up the drums (wrong)? Plus I was taught the wrong grip on how to hold the sticks. I totally agreewatching a student struggle is part of the process. But the weird thing is within 5 minutes of lessons at another place they taught me correctly and without pain. Telling me I will get it eventually without tips is not good teaching. All of this is pretty poor teaching, to say the least. I thought from these reviews that this would be an excellent place to go. Maybe it used to be--the man who was there at the time I signed up was. However, I am honestly not understanding the positive reviews whatsoever. I have had hundreds of lessons on different instruments and none, not private nor school funded, compared to how bad this one was. I came in and the first 20 minutes are spent tuning the instrument. Not me learning how to tune, no. Them tuning it FOR me, not with me, and telling me when I ask how to that I'll "get the hang of it". It only took this long because they had no electric tuner. There goes 20 minutes of my hour lesson. Then I start on drums (I was trying drums and guitar). The drums are not set up, so we spend 10 minutes setting them up and tuning them (which, again, is being done for me, and I'm told I will "do it eventually by myself"). In all fairness, at least the drum teacher is a good teacher. However he sets up the drums wrong, he claims, at the end of session, and needs to leave earlier than we planned to pick up his kids. At 4:50, after playing for 10 minutes of my 1 hour lesson and only having 10 minutes left, they use half the time scheduling another lesson (which I canceled), and then the rest of the 5 minutes I'm trying to play a guitar. It is clearly painful, and I keep telling Pika that it is painful to play. I keep shaking out my hand and groaning. She watches from across the room and tells me "You will get the hang of it eventually" without actually helping me to correct it. Again, had hundreds of lessons in voice, uke, guitar, and violin. I've never seen a place as ill-prepared as this. I started at Back to Rock in Plymouth...for only 10$ extra I get a full lesson with compassionate staff. Will definitely not come back here again. I see why staff turnover is high here. I modified this review because I had a typo and forgot to mention--it is also extremely hot with machines that are very high pitched/buzzing (ex: Humidifiers, air conditioners, and amps that don't work properly).

So initially I left a negative review because I hadnt received the guitar a month after ordering. However I received stellar customer service from the company and she really made it right. I recommend this business, they do care about their customers. What happened with my order was probably a one off. My apologies to the business!
