We are exceedingly happy with the high end rail system Paul Kraft furnished us. We are very hard people to please when it comes to aesthetics, yet Paul furnished us with a very high quality product that looks stunning and polished despite my dubious mechanical and carpentry skills. We also appreciate that the cabling was pre-cut and the cable hardware hidden, for a classy, minimalist look. I found his pricing very competitive with other systems of lesser quality. Paul patiently answered all my dumb questions and quickly rectified his cable fabricator's few errors. We highly recommend.

I've been a carpenter/building contractor for over 40 years. I had a really high end job that I needed a cable rail system for. I had used numerous fabricators for cable rails and they didn't seem to fit my expectations, so I perused the internet again and came upon Paul Kraft mpls. I talked with Paul and decided to (skeptically) order his product. The turn around time was right on, the packaging was really thought out as was the product inside. They send instructions that are clear and simple and everything went together better than I had anticipated. To me, Paul has taken cable rails to higher level. He knows what he is doing. He and his wife, Michele, are the real thing, they really exceeded my expectations and in these days and times that's impressive.

Overpriced and a headache for what it takes to install his product. I was a sub on a few projects who used his system. A couple of photos and some good reviews does not mean he does a good job. Unreliable, his cables were all loose, and hes the typical (my stuff is awesome if theres a problem its someone elses fault.) Pretty sure this guy is overworked, understaffed, and doesnt have the ability to run a consistent and quality company. Hes a craftsman not very good at being a businessman.

Best Craftsmanship and Service! This product is beautiful, working with Paul was an absolute pleasure. He is very quick to respond to questions and made us feel comfortable through the entire process. The way that he works his cable system requires the cables to be installed after the posts and railings are in, but as soon as you give him the measurements he needs, your cable is shipped out and arrives very quickly. My installer said it was so much easier than any other cable installation he's done and you don't have the huge bolts sticking out everywhere. We could not have been happier and recommend him highly!

Edited post: 9/7/22 I wanted to update my original post and apologize for my timeline being off. Looking back at my time stamped messages on Etsy & personal email, it was not 2 weeks in receiving the quote, it was only 6 days. Measurements were sent July 27 (timestamped on my end), and I received the quote from Paul Aug 2. To clarify from my last post, it wasn't so much the turn time in receiving the quote I get that Paul is slammed with orders based on his stellar reviews and awesome work. It was the lack of response from the time I said I wanted to move forward w/ the project (Aug 7), until I finally heard back (Sept 5). During this 4 week timespan, I followed up by email (Aug 7), a text (Aug 27), and finally a call (Aug 31) which I couldn't leave a msg due to his VM being full. Whether my timeline was 2 weeks or 2 months, is a moot point. A quick reply on next steps and being out of pocket would have been appreciated. It sucks that when I finally did hear back from Paul, it was right after I wrote a 1 star review. I hate writing negative reviews, let alone reviews! Why not respond before I wrote it? I for one, get that life gets in the way of work and other priorities, but to finally respond after a negative review could have been easily avoided. Maybe this situation just happened to me, but taking accountability by admitting to 'possibly' making a mistake, shows maturity and professionalism, versus pointing the finger at the customer for being 'wrong'. If Paul was communicative and transparent in the beginning about not being available for sometime, or just apologize for not responding sooner, I wouldn't be writing this review today. All in all, I did not purchase his product. Based on reviews, it seems like Paul makes stellar products. So i wouldn't let my negative experience stand in the way of your exceptional one.
