    After almost a decade of knowing I need a psychiatrist, I took my GP's referral to their psych and scheduled a visit once we ruled out a thyroid condition that runs in the family. They ran through a checklist, didn't ask a single personal or backstory question, and then said "well you haven't lost your job yet so it can't be too serious, try listening to binaural beats at work". General care has been as much as a poor person can hope for, but that won't help if I end up shutting down to the point where I can't feed myself.

    I had an appointment here once to meet online with someone who could prescribe me a medication and they were late to call me into the room. There was no one working that day who had the password for the computer that was needed for the appointment. This was close to the time the clinic closed for the day so I was unable to get a prescription. Luckily I was not charged for the appointment. This doctor was a very busy person and was too booked for me to reschedule.

    Doctor is nice and professional . But bills department is so worse and make error on the bills . I try to call them to fix it and never have someone pick up the phone and the bills payment always make higher than you should pay . UpdateAfter post review they call me back and fix my bill.

    Since when did coughing become abnormal? Came here with my 59 yrs old mom with my lil son who's 9 months old in my arm and had the most embarrassing welcome ever by the clinic staffs. The worst of all was the inept so-called manager. They emphatically said that when you're found coughing you will be sent home no matter what the level of cough is. I asked, don't we humans have lungs? Oops they are not that professional to know that either. Hilarious clinic ever!

Adieu,Thank you for taking time to share your frustrations about your experience at Neighborhood HealthSource. I am truly sorry that you and your family felt unwelcome. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, our policy is to screen for any and all COVID symptoms at the time of clinic visits, including coughs, whether mild or severe. When someone has one of these symptoms, arrangements are made to safely attend to their needs. We can do this by telemedicine or phone visits and determine how best to care for the patient while also protecting our other patients, providers and staff.This symptom screening policy applies to all patients and family members who come to our clinic. Staff are quick to respond to any of these symptoms (such as your son’s cough) in order to keep everyone safe. I can see how being quickly sent out may feel unwelcoming and, using your feedback, we will review our strategies for quickly sending someone with symptoms out of the waiting room. My understanding is that your baby was not the person with the appointment and that the person who had the appointment was seen. In addition, my staff says that they inquired about having your son’s cough addressed and that you assured them that it had been evaluated at another location. I sincerely hope that your son is better and that your family will give us another chance to serve you. This pandemic has required many adjustments to how we do our work as we ensure our patients get quality care and everyone is safe from exposure within the clinic.
