Stayed here for an Expo at the convention center. Getting from parking ramp to hotel desk was CONFUSING; getting to Convention Center from lobby is even worse! Skyway isn't really user-friendly & is a bit of a maze. After that said, the hotel itself is really nice & upscale. Called and asked if an early check-in was available & they accommodated. Downtown Mpls has tons of restaurants and bars to choose from if you decide not to use the ones in the hotel. It's time to put my feet up and enjoy the stay.

Hoping it gets better! I arrived around 1:00 knowing check in was later in the day and I was told to check around 2:30 to see if the room was ready then. I went to lunch and checked with the desk at 2:30 and the lady said I could pay $40 more for an upgraded room which I declined since my employer is paying for the stay and she then told me she has a quiet room for me. Great! I got to the room and it was a room with 2 double beds, I reserved and paid for a king room so I called the front desk and was repeatedly told that is what I reserved a double room even though I was looking at my reservation that clearly says Deluxe 1 King Bed City View, they finally told me to come back down to the front desk and they would move me across the hall to a king room. Now Im next to people yelling on a business floor that is quiet. I called the front desk to ask to speak to a manager and the lady I spoke to told me Its 4:00 in the afternoon, if theyre loud tonight you can call us to send security up there. The manager never called me and I have been made to feel like an inconvenience to staff for requesting what I paid for, and a quiet room, which is unacceptable. Im hoping today is not an indication of a long miserable week at this hotel.

I didnt actually stay at this hotel, neither can I remember the place where I went. However me and my wife were just driving home from the hospital after the birth of our son. I was driving when all of a sudden I felt a deep rumble in my stomach, It felt as if the Balrog from lord of the rings was born in my stomach. (I will be writing a negative review for sugar free gummy bears after this) I pulled into the parking lot as fast as I could and ran inside. Im not a religious man, but thank god the nice desk worker understood my situation and pointed me to the nearest restroom. After an hour long battle that would rival the beaches of Normandy, I came out to a text from my wife that the baby had thrown up. I went over to the nice desk worker once again and explained my situation She gave me two and I cleaned up the mess and returned the towels. Wonderful service and understanding staff.
