Angels is the most accurate way to describe the amazing people that helped care for my mother. My mom Pat was battling a very aggressive form of ALS and we had the most amazing care by this team. Ellen and Loretta were truly gifts from God for my mom and our family during this time. We are thankful for the kind, considerate, compassionate care she received. We will be forever thankful for this time.

Update: after 45 days of service we've come to the following conclusions. - many (about half) of the caregivers sent out lack "life skills" and were of little help to us. Disappointing and wasted money. - The agency doesn't really train its staff and would greatly benefit from setting up a mock apartment, hiring a trainer, and training (uniformly) its staff in all the services offered as well as how to perform them efficiently and cleanly. - this service is considerably more expensive than a full time nursing home and not 100% reliable. That said after 45 days, they did manage the worst aspects of my father's care which was in bed toileting. I was thankful for that and for the caregivers that knew how to perform their duties. Original post My 91 year old dad became bed bound after a long hospital stay. Visiting Angles were referred to us by the VA. The Visiting Angles have been a Godsend to us in terms of all my dad's needs, from Aleah in the office/nurse to the Angels - Tammy, LaChrisha, Angel, Kurt & D - they have been FABULOUS in every way. I would not consider another home care agency after our experience with the Visiting Angles. They are greatly appreciated

I have the best caregiver, Brittany Porter, whom has made my life much better as she makes it her mission to find out my needs and she considers how my needs and efforts affect my family and she fills in the gaps with a pure heart. Also she is like so efficient, multi-spatial, like a ninja that can leap over obstacles she can leap into all circumstances and be a help to me and it helps my family too. Brittany adjusts to my energy, sometimes she knows just what I need before I do, and I'm not afraid to ask her for help in any way. From basic necessities to her going above and beyond and she aims for things to work so when she leaves life is better!! The small and big pictures, her laughs, her giving nature, her personality shines along with her heart. As we all wish for a helping hand I hope to have her for a very long time. Thank you Visiting Angels for Brittany!!
