I've attended several events at Minneapolis Event Center. Always a wonderful experience. Food and service are excellent. The creative flair never ceases to impress. I highly recommend Minneapolis Event Center.

Having been a forth time guest at this gorgeous venue, I can say that the staff is amazing and the food is top notch. I highly recommend considering this venue for your event. .

During the tour of the venue, we were given a lot of information and one of them was the check in time for the bridal suite. For reception only, you get the suite for 12 hours, from 12pm-12am the next day. The information was stated on the document and that it was revised May of 2023. When we sign the contract in June 2023, it was stated that the check in time is 1 hour prior to guest arrival at 3:30pm. This practice is not okay since details were held back before the time of the contract and information was falsely advertised in the tour guide document. As we know, one hour is clearly not enough time to get ready for bridal hair and makeup, not including time for getting ready photos. When we asked about this misinformation, they stated that they have to abide by the contract and that information/details are subject to change. They did not offered early check-ins as we only held a reception at the venue and not a ceremony as well. I had three other friends who got married at other venues in the city and said that this venue by far has the worst policies. The only good thing about this venue is that it's beautiful and the staffs are responsive to questions.
