Great place for a party!

I saw there was only one review of this place, so I thought I had better chime in. We were married here 10 years ago, and it was a wonderful experience. HOWEVER, be advised it has changed ownership since then and is now owned by Northeast Social. So the main reason we loved it, the ability to bring in our own food and beverages to have an actual practical reasonably priced wedding, is totally gone. We were just there for a concert last night, and I kept thinking how I would review it if I was having my wedding there today. I really don't think it would be worthwhile, considering the challenges. Yes, the space is historic and cool, and can be beautiful with some decoration, but the stairs are problematic, sometimes even for able-bodied guests, never mind handicapped ones or ones in a wheelchair. But most frustratingly, the ladies bathroom desperately needs to be updated. There are only two stalls, and you have to go up some stairs to get to them. Where is the handicapped bathroom? The lines were soooo long all night, and the venue was maybe at 1/3 capacity. They need to put in at least another stall, there is definitely room for it in their sizable lounge. Also I would like to see doors on both the ladies room lounge and the men's bathroom. Standing in a crowded bar waiting for a drink (there is only one bar, with very limited options, and oh yeah it's CASH only), we had a Birdseye view right into the men's room, not exactly appetizing, LOL. How hard would it be to put a door on there?
