    This place is not safe. Homeless ppl in the lobby piggybacking to get access the building. Then the mice issues!! They never answer the phone and change their hours all the time. Do not live here, save ur coins!!

    I wish i could rate this place 0 stars. They are MICE infested DO NOT move here!!!!! They dont answer your calls, they still havent sent pest control out its been over a week and I still havent heard back from anyone. Theres homeless people that are in the building 24/7, Im paying rent somewhere I dont even feel safe at. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! If you have other options please choose those save yourself the headache

    The staff here is very nice and attentive! Vincent Chelsea and Indigo in the office are always there when you call.Modesto and all the groundskeepers always greet you with a smile!

    Renter's Beware** - Unfortunately, the entire surrounding area is crime driven and I've seen several car windows broken into the next morning on the street. It's pretty typical to hear gun shots within the area as well. The indoor parking is less than ideal as they're constantly having maintenance issues with the door which will lead to you parking on the street for a day or 2. Even when the door is working their parking requires you to leave before 8 a.m and not return until 5 p.m unless you want to pay an additional $125 on top of the $50 you're already paying per month. When I originally moved in (March 2020) Alex was the G.M and I had next to no problems with my experience. Since WIllie Holloway took over there were several unanswered maintenance requests (for what it's worth the lead maintenance guy is always smiling and saying hi - always enjoyed seeing him around). I had no one call me back on a low battery on my door lock which resulted in being locked out of my own apartment for one night and the following day they wanted me to pay $100 for seeking a maintenance guy after their staffed hours (later got dropped). I moved out last month and left nothing in the apartment and took extremely good care of the unit. When my deposit check came back it was only a check for $187 (the full deposit was $1189). There was no receipt to what they used the $1000 for so after numerous calls I was told by Willie that over $600 went to repainting the unit and that they do this to every single person regardless if the unit needs it or not and the other $400 went towards cleaning specifically the carpet (there's only carpet in the bedroom and it's not very big). After demanding they return the rest of the deposit Willie explained he would not so now I am in a position to have to put in a claim at the circuit clerks office. I've tried to contact their property management company (Saturday Properties) several times with no response as well. If you're considering Southsider Apartments I highly recommend you reconsider. *** In response to the reply from the owner. I received a call from Chris of Saturday properties Friday morning saying he did not see any photos attached to my account and the main payment was to replace the stove top (something that was never mentioned to me). He told me he would be reaching out to Willie and I could expect a call back by the end of the day Friday to address this matter. It's now past 72 hours from that point and I still haven't received a single call so it would be great if someone could actually follow up on this and explain to me what is actually going on with the account.
