image PROGRAM COORDINATOR WAS VERY DISRESPECTFUL!

Mackenzie Gifford on Google

image The program coordinator needs a new job. She/he doesn't know how to run a successful treatment and kicks people out right before there suppose to graduate then tries to turn the table. Steals people e-cigs and other stuff. I do not recommend this place to anyone looking to get sober and stay sober. It's very dissfunctional inpatient program the turn over rate is ridiculous. Jac the program manager running a woman's facility is a man (wink wink).
Then is so disrespectful to peoples belongings literally throwing people's things down the stairs and laughing about it. I'm so ashamed that nuway lets him get away with behaviors.

image There are privileges here you can't get in most other treatment facilities. Yeah, you have to be to group on time obviously. If it's an emergency you can use the bathroom. It's your responsibility to check off your chore, that's not negligent lol Nursing and tech are two different positions and I believe sometimes clients get this confused. Nurses are there more so during the day and morning. If you want help, go here.

image If you suffer from mental health, want to have a successful journey to the life of sobriety, or have any medical problems DO NOT GO HERE. It is unsafe, unsanitary, and you will be mistreated. The staff are horrible to the clients. They are negligent and punish you for things such as forgetting to sign off on your chore, being 2 minutes late to a meeting, or even needing to go to the bathroom during groups. There were multiple medical errors and 2 medical emergencies. They denied giving me my prescribed medications because I was outside of their med times (by 45 minutes because the clients were allowed to be up later on weekends). As a result, I began to withdraw from my prescribed medications and got sick. On another occasion there was a client in hypertensive distress. She had a blood pressure well over 250/110 yes, you read that right. There was a registered nurse in the room that told her to just go lie down on her bed and rest. The nurse, nor any other staff, checked on her as she was lying down for well over an hour. I found her later in her bed (we were roommates) and she was showing very specific stroke-like symptoms. No one called for emergency medical services of any kind. Being a previous medical professional, I transported her to the hospital immediately. All staff, including the head of the house had been made aware of the concerns clients have for safety and yet they took that as a reason to retaliate against their clients instead of taking the opportunity to improve and actually do what they advertise their services to be.
