KW Floors

WARNING! Horrible Quality. did a horrible job. I had them back for a second time to "Fix" and they didn't. Argued to have them come and fix correctly with them saying "this is the way it is" and they threatened to put a lien against my property. I had to pay them to leave me alone and still have to hire a different company to come and fix everything. Beware of KW Floors. You have been Warned!

Great work and so quick and easy to set up, really wondering why I took so long to clean up my dinning room hardwood floor. It looks new again!!

Cory at KW Floors is the best example of customer service I can think of. Timely responses and as helpful as can be. Will always use KW floors for my flooring needs.

In July of 2022, we had hardwood floors installed in the living room and hallways to match the original wood in our bedrooms of our 1970s house. The transition between the wood floor and kitchen tile was severely damaged by the sanding subcontractor. When we saw the finished results (photos attached) I sent an email with photos expressing our concern with the floor, asking for Harold (the owner and contractor) to call me, and saying we wouldn't consider the job complete until the damage was fixed. This started a HORRIBLE month long process. I will try to summarize: Harold refused to talk to me about it, said it was our fault because of a comment my husband made to the installer, hung up on me multiple times, lied and said the sander was filing liens on our home, and more. It was really scary. We had to get legal advice and ended up sending letters and photos by certified mail to have a paper trail. In the end, we hired another place to correct the damage and took it out of the rest of our payment. We wrote Harold a $600 check (we used the lowest bid we got), got a receipt, and tried to get over this horrible experience. By mid September our floor was finally done. I am a very reasonable person and tried to work with Harold. I have never been treated so terribly by a contractor. It was honestly a horrible experience and really shocking considering the business has been around a while and there were good reviews. That's was obviously a KW Floors of a different era, under different management or something. I'm writing this in hopes of sparing someone the time, money, and headache that we had to deal with. I could go into more detail, but I didn't want more time to go by without posting this review as a warning to anyone considering KW Floors. We used a younger guy just starting out with his flooring business to fix the damage and he was great!! Tyler at TVB Flooring. Did really talented work fixing the damage and had great customer service.
