        I traveled to Blue Mounds for a weekend in late September and it was a fun place! I car camped (tent spot) at spot #13 and it was so nice. Right next to the river and close to the showers/bathroom. I would recommend using the showers/bathroom near spots 1-40 as its much nicer and newer. Campground also has Wi-Fi! No check-in or check out when I went, just on the honor system I suppose. The park and prairie were neat to see. Definitely recommend the Bison Truck Tour! Park is also not too far a drive to Sioux Falls.

        Great park. Bike trails are wonderful and you can even take a bike trail to town. If you do go into town, stop at the historical Society and see their museum. It was super cool. Wish I wouldve been able to spend more time at this park. Also, the hiking trails are great.
