My wife and have been going to LBH for over a year now regularly. I can confidently say weve had the absolute best experience. So thankful to all the wonderful staff, receptionists included, who have been so helpful in getting us what we need Change takes time, and well be happy to go to LBH for years to come.

My ex-wife has been seeing a female therapist at this location for quite a while. My ex and I are trying to be the best coparent we can be and even rekindle what was lost due to the trauma I myself caused... I am an alcoholic with three years seven months and four days as of this writing The therapist that works there agreed to take us on in couples therapy. At that moment she became my therapist I became her patient. She now has a moral and ethical obligation to only act in my best interest and the best interest of my ex-wife. If you cannot remain unbiased and neutral you absolutely must deny our request to be our therapist. My BA from college is in Psychology and I'm a very logical thinker... the thought of what was about to happen next never even crossed my mind. My ex spouse did some reprehensible repulsive malicious things for the duration of our five year divorce, separation and custody battle... things I've either been told by my ex-wife that she she doesn't remember or it was in the best interest of the children when I asked... so I open my heart and discussed what's truly been the root of all my issues from the divorce and separation. I told her a few of the things my ex-wife admitted she never told her therapist over the past couple years but things that actually happened like these..... I lived in St. Louis for 19 months of our separation and I was served papers 11 days before I move states The paper I was served had the wrong court date on the front page in BOLD that had a date in December 2022 (at the time the world was shut down due to Covid so seemed plausible) and since I didn't have representation I believe the official document I was served That date was wrong she divorced me in secret Taking all rights and custody of my boys....her and her parents let me live in a fake life with me and my three young boys still thinking mom and dad are married just separated and maybe working it out.... I still have no custody no rights no visitation schedule to see my kids 4 years after the divorce After two years being sober And divorced for a year and a half she denied any custody any rights or anything because I haven't been sober long enough. The first holiday season we had together she took all three my boys for Thanksgiving Christmas and spring break to another state without even consulting me... promised me for the second year she would put me on the emergency contact list for the school because she promised the first year and never did it so when you came around and she swore up and down she did it but when one of my kids Was being investigated for something... she okayed a detective to interrogate my child alone while he's the one being investigated when I was at home a mile and a half away and he couldn't call me because she never put me on the emergency contact list for the second year.... Trust me I could go on and on but when I brought these up the therapist did not even address one single issue I cried that was deeply affecting my mental health.... She 4 separate times took us back to St. Louis.... the last place we lived to talk about how bad of an alcoholic I was and the pain I caused my ex-wife. And as it is almost always true the worst of my alcoholism was at the very end We started the session ALL agreeing we were going to start the day she gave me the separation agreement to look over and make changes and add if I want to (What I wanted to come out did not when I wanted to go in also did not) because we all agreed on why we got divorced) Her therapist only wanted to talk about The 10 years before that date not why I was told we were going to see her. Needless to say the process of filing a formal complaint against this therapist has begun as I believe she will more harm than good. Just because someone says they're a doctor or specialist please remember they're also human which means they're not perfect at some point they will make wrong choices so protect yourself
