Dan, Gary, and the crew have been helping us with all the trees in our HOA for many years. Their work and communication is top notch. Today, Dan and a crew helped us trim and reduction prune our big, crazy river birch. It's in tight quarters. They are real artists up there. It looks truly beautiful; even better than we expected. And they really left no trace; their clean-up work was super fast and thorough. We look forward to working with this team for years to come.

Gary and his crew are careful to explain the what, why and how of what they will do each time they come, which is every two years. (I have a large, 30 year old maple, a 15 year old Japanese lilac, and a row of 25 ft tall arborvitae.) Each decision made is part of a plan, not a one off job, and we have been more than pleased with the results and the professionalism of Northern Arborists. I can't imagine any reason to call another tree service.

During an estimate, the owner Gary spent a considerable amount of time explaining to me all there is to know about our trees and the best avenue to prune them through the eyes of an experienced arborist.  He was very passionate explaining his process and I could tell he enjoys his business and tries to incorporate nature into a homeowners atmosphere.  I like the idea Northern Arborists do not wear spikes on their boots to climb a tree or drive big heavy trucks onto a homeowners lawn to prune trees using a big boom.  The arborists almost always use a knife to cut down the tree limbs after hoisting themselves up into the tree with only pure strength and their ropes.  I highly recommend Gary and his team for any of your arborist needs.
