Currently lease my property to Woodloch for hay farming and couldn't be happier that Bill and I bumped into each other. It's rare to find such an asset to the community. My wife and I will be building our home soon, but in the meantime we've been cleaning up the land we purchased. Bill and Marcus have taken time out of their busy day to help us plant trees and do other chores around the property. It has been a huge blessing getting to work alongside Bill. I can't speak to the horse side of things, but I'm sure one day our kids (Lord willing we have kids) will want to try riding a horse. I know where we will take them first ;) Thanks for all you do, Bill and family!

I've really enjoyed taking jump lessons at Woodloch! I've learned a lot and it's been such a great atmosphere to learn in. Instruction has been friendly and encouraging. I'm glad I started taking lessons there.

Dont listen to owners replies to other raising complaints. Anyone claiming there's nothing wrong here is choosing to turn a blind eye. It breaks my heart to write this review. I have loved this barn for over 10 years but lately things have gone to rumble. The lesson horses in particular need help. They rarely see the farrier. Their hooves are most of the time overgrown and cracked all the way up. Many others CLEARLY have severe back pain and/or ulcers. One horse has chronic lameness but is still ridden and jumped consistently. When my daughter asked the trainer. "Why does she trot like that?", she was told the horse is "half gaited". While I don't doubt the horse is a cross of a gaited breed I can tell the difference between gaited and lame. These lesson horses get very little medical care past deworming and it's the same with the brood mares. Some of these horses (schoolies and mares) are skin and bone through the winters. My daughter has told me that the schoolies are only fed when ridden. Horrible for a horses gut. Hay quality is horrible. I moved my 2 horses over a year ago but my daughter still takes lessons here. We are looking for another lesson barn in the area because we can no longer support this treatment of animals.
