Our stay here was fantastic! The hotel is newer, clean, comfortable and well kept. All the people we came in contact with were friendly going over and above to make us feel welcome. Breakfast is amazing with several warm options to choose from. The coffee bar is a highlight. We didn't use the pool so I can't speak for that.

Terrible experience.. I drove an hour and half in bad weather with my daughters to stay and swim for their birthday..someone got sick in the pool so they closed it around 6:30 pm we couldn't even use the pool the main reason for going. The staff was very nice they said it would be open in the morning but it wasn't till just before check-out so we couldn't even swim then because there was no time. I payed 239 dollars for basically nothing they only refunded me 40 dollars. Never going back and will not refer anyone to go there

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The woman that checked us in gave us a room on the 1st floor, right next to the front lobby. A middle school state hockey tournament was happening in town. When we got back to our hotel, after planning for a funeral the next day, we were mentally exhausted and needed some quiet time in our room. Apparently, the hotel staff was fine with allowing the hockey parents use the lobby as an all night barroom. I get that its an exciting time to watch your kid play hockey in a state tournament. Been there many times doing the same thing with our kids for other sports. However, the parents stayed in the lobby partying until 1:00am. We thought that the staff would break up the yelling, loud laughing, drunk parents at 9pm. Isnt it just a common courtesy to the rest of their hotel patrons? At 11pm I called the front desk and spoke to Kayla. She first told me that whoever checked us in at the hotel shouldnt have put us right next to the lobby. She then said that the hockey parents were just having fun. She also said that the police couldnt do anything. Like we believed her At 12:30, we called the police and reported disturbance at the hotel. The sheriffs department said they had already been there, but would go back. Finally, at 1:10am the place was quiet. We got a very restless nights sleep after all the commotion. The staff could have stopped it at a decent hour, but they chose not to. There was no respect for the other guests at the hotel. There needs to be some lobby restrictions. The hotel lobby should not be used for a party gathering. There was a posted placard at the front desk the next day saying something like the lobby needs to be quiet at 11pm. Really 11:00pm? This place was LOUD at 9:30pm! There were obnoxious people parked out our front door drinking at 10pm. It was completely unacceptable. Never, ever will we stay at that hot mess hotel. Response to the owner: After reading other reviews over a year ago, this wasnt an isolated incident. Other guests have had this problem too, and nothing has been done about it. Just let guests know that you cater to drunk, hockey parents. Thats all.
