Hire them. Just do it. I did the vetting process of realtors in the area for you. Don't bother. Just hire Veronica and her team. Why? Read on.
It was a desperate time in my family's life. Dad had been moved into memory care in a neighboring town and that had not gone smoothly. I was responsible for taking care of the family home and hobby farm remnants of 40 years. I live out of state. Just SD but out of state just the same. As I said, I interviewed 4 different realtors/agencies in the area. One agency promised me a quick sale, but we would have to sacrifice the value of the property. Veronica came across determined to find just the right buyer at just the right price within my timeline. She didn't make promises, but she knew what this property needed to be sold.
I was anxious about the work ahead. A pole building full of the paraphernalia from a working hobby farm that had gone dormant years before. A four-bedroom two-bath home that hadn't been updated since the late 1980s save for a few simple things. Landscaping that had been mostly ignored for 5 years apart from mowing the lawn. As an understatement, it was a large job that felt overwhelming. Veronica was the driving force to get this property under control and ready for the market. She found resources to help clean it up and clean it out: junk companies, haul-away companies, cleaning crews, etc. Then she and her son started the REAL work.
Roger and Veronica spent a lot of time out at the property getting their hands dirty, literally. Roger started in the pole building and Veronica was pulling weeds. She took great photos, gave the walk-up a facelift with beautiful plants, and pointed out what needed work. Throughout the process, she never left me hanging without resources to get the work done and many times was right there with me getting that work done. I was not her only client at the time, but I felt like I was. In the end, I was ecstatic with the result: a smooth process to receive a fair price within my timeline.
