I started seeing Dr. Ma in 2018 after being involved in a hit and run bike/car accident in San Francisco 12/2017. (I was on the bike.) Back injuries are generally chronic and one learns to live and adapt. Dr. Ma has helped me to do just that over the past 5 years. Nine weeks ago I had a heart attack and subsequently the placement of 3 stents. I continued to have chest pressure several times a day which was of unknown etiology. I had an acupuncture treatment with Dr. Ma, and the episodes of chest pressure greatly decreased. Dr. Ma is very professional with a calm demeanor. I refer Dr. Ma and the Acupuncture Center any time I can.

Acupuncture has proven to aid in pregnancy nausea/hyperemesis gravidarum for me. Today, I showed up for my appointment on the wrong day the staff was determined to squeeze me in since I was there. It was my own fault but they helped me regardless. It saved me! Paige is quick, effective, and if youre afraid of needles hurting - she is the most gentle acupuncturist Ive ever had. I hardly notice when she places them, but drift off to total bliss when she is done placing them. Wonderful staff, great work. I trust them with my health!
