EMC Insurance Companies

This company needs to be investigated. In the legal field terminology this company is working constantly and constantly in “bad faith”. As the numbers go about 85% of insurance companies work at some level of bad faith, EMC in my experience takes bad faith to beyond 100%. Don’t do business with them and if you have a claim with them get a lawyer, you’ll need one.

Worse experience- Melissa from EMC insurance is very suspicious as she was the person to call me as Hyvee claim management. Hyvee is completely aware this happened and came out, took pictures and submitted the claim to its EMC insurance. Melissa sounded very nice on first call and I was so innocent that I just told all the details of what I saw happened. She said wait for about 10 days until I investigate it. A month later she sent me a denial letter. The washer was working ok so they are not responsible for the action of grabbing the wiper and scratching my car.

Horrible experience with this company. One star is one too many. I am waiting for a check to be mailed for over 2 months. The rep. Cheryl has never responded to my email or voicemail.

EMC insures the City of Hudson WI. On a dark night, while walking side by side with a companion, I knew I was clear of this lamp post. What I didn't see was the conduit sticking out into the sidewalk. 3 doctors' visits, an x-ray, a CT scan, prescription meds and a cortisone shot later, EMC told me I should have been more careful.
