    My wife and I bought a 2023 Escape ST Line that had been a service loaner with 1803 miles on it. It's a great car and the sales people were nice, the finance person was a bit high pressure though. There are also a few things that happend after the buying experience however. This car was sold to us as new because it was always in the dealer's possession. However, we didn't know the state of MN has a different definition of new. Usually when you buy a new car the state registration fees (plates and tabs) are included in the loan and you don't have to pay this out of pocket right away. But because this car had been registered already, and we're on the hook for coming up with registration money (which we were anyway but it's not in the loan), we went to the sales manager and he gave us coupons for 5 works oil changes which we are grateful for. Also, our sales receipt says the car is new but the title says it's used. This is confusing and my wife went back to the sales manager looking for an explanation which he provided but he was rude and condescending he became defensive and made my wife feel like she was being a nuisance and suggested that she was looking for a new car to replace the one we bought while smuggly tipping back in his chair which was very unprofessional, my wife left in tears We are concerned about this because I had a supplier discount through my employer but it's for new cars and we jumped through all the hoops to get the required information for it but I'm not sure we received it, it's not itemized on our sales receipt. So there's two things here, either the dealer lied and called my car new to get us to buy it but it was really used and they new it and therefore couldn't use my discount (which they didn't disclose if they did or not). Or, they're allowed to say the car is new and used the discount but knew there could be an issue with it because the state will call it used. I'm not sure if I'll bring this to the attention of the discount provider and my employer yet. We're afraid to go back to Metropolitan Ford now to ask about how the discount was handled. Lastly, the front passenger seat was lacking padding and the service department called an appolstery service to add some but they didn't do enough and they broke the plastic part on the base of the seat. I wouldn't have noticed that but they didn't put it back on correctly so on inspection I found a plastic piece on the floor of the car and a drill driver bit. Also the service manager didn't record this work in their system saying it was a courtesy and Ford wouldn't let them do the seat on warranty. We took the car to another dealer service shop and they had no problem ordering a new seat under warranty. So we're not sure what's going on with Metropolitan Ford but it seems like they're a bit shady. Be careful if you're going there.

They called a couple of hours later on Tuesday and my car was already complete. AMAZING! The phone calls, communication . . . all of it. Thank you.
