Great school with a great program. They are very invested in your success. Planes are very well maintained, instructors are all knowledgeable and welcoming. These people are not just here to build time, they're here to teach! Highly recommended.

Took my commercial written test here. Check in was quick and efficient. The center had a very clean, quiet and modern atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly as well.
It really puts the mind in a different place when taking the exam in a relatable atmosphere. The difference showed in my test scores compared to the other 2 I've taken at a PSI testing center.
AV8 will be my go-to for FAA knowledge tests from now on.

I flew Black Hawks in the Army for about 8 years. After being out of the Army for a while, I wanted to get back in the air and fly a helicopter. I called AV8 and talked to Brock. He is one of their instructors, and a very good one.
I scheduled some time to go fly the Cabri G2 with him. As it turned out, I still had a lot of the skills I learned in the Army, but Brock kept me safe flying a machine I had never flown before. He was helpful, the helicopter was in great condition, and overall it was a great experience.
I definitely plan to go back and continue flying. I would highly recommend AV8 and Brock as an instructor, whether you're just starting out or if you've been flying for a while and want a great home base.
